This week’s Episode 3 of the Kardtects FlipSide Series features the animation build of a ‘Christmas Tree Card Tower’ and ‘Gifts’. What fun to build before the holidays!
And since it’s a Flipside Video, there is also the Knock Down! Kardtects (card architects) love building, knocking down, and then building again.
Watch the Video below and Subscribe today to not miss out on future FlipSide Fun with Kardtects.
(Also, after the Video are some helpful tips on how to build the card tower tree and other fun stuff).
Some Tips for Building the Card Tower Tree are:
- The first layer of ‘Triangles’ (5 of them) should be doubled up for extra strength. This wouldn’t be needed if it was only a 3-2-1 Card Tower Tree, but for a 5-4-3-2-1 Card Tower Tree it is a good idea to do.
- After placing two Triangles side by side, place a card over top of them so this secures them more from falling over.
- Try to line up the Triangles so the bases of the layer on top correlates with the tops of two Triangle points below. This offers more stability.
The ‘Triangle’ card tower is one of the most difficult methods of building a card house. The Kardtects Squares or T-Methods are a lot easier to build constructions. But it is a fun way to challenge Kardtects (card architects) and they do make awesome ‘Trees’. Here is a whole ‘Forest of Card Tower Trees surrounding a card house!’
Within the Expansion Packs, however, are building cards actually featuring trees. To place these within a structure’s landscape, the method is just a matter of leaning the Tree Card Upright against another upright card behind it.
Building with Kardtects building cards is lots of fun and there are limitless ways to build with them. With imaginations, who knows what will be built with Kardtects!
Please feel free to send us what you are building! We would love to see!
