Kardtects is only as good as the builder, and that is one of the fun focal features of the craze. Whether the play is taken as a personal challenge of building better and bigger each time one takes cards out of the box, or to out-build a friend, or even to try and break the Kardtects records for the highest tower, or the largest structure, it’s a creative challenge of being a Master Kardtect, the greatest architect title for those building with cards.
An interesting fact about architects is that the first architect ever recorded is of the ancient Egyptian official named Imhotep, who was an advisor to the Pharaoh Djoser.
He is credited with designing the famous Step Pyramid at Saqqara in Egypt in 2630 – 2611 BC. He has also been ‘credited’ as being responsible for the first known use of regular columns to be used in architecture. The actual Stepped Pyramid is believed to be a representation of Ptah-TaTanen, the architect of the universe.
Following Imhotep, a series of famous architects have followed through history, advancing not just innovations in practicality and decoration, but also advancing both culture and education.
As such, we should never underestimate the value of an architect and their designs or influence, at least not that of a Kardtect.
