Although there are endless designs of card houses to build with the Kardtects Grisroc Starter box, below is one example of what could be built. The example shown is one design for a ‘Grisroc Castle’.
It uses the collectible building cards found in the Grisroc set. Grisroc is an alternative way of saying Grey Rock, and so this set was produced to illustrate grey rock walls. Included in the starter box are also castle tower doors, windows, and tower tops (crenellations). Plus, it shouldn’t be forgotten to mention the one Ultra-rare building card (a door) in each box, 2 Destroyer Disks (collectible too), 5 card stands to aid beginner builders, and instructions.
All of this gives out huge amounts of never-ending fun and excitement. Kids imagine, build, knock-down, and then build again. With the expansion packs they collect more cards with fascinating features to enhance their building card collections and continue to build again and again. Each time gaining more skill in creating captivating card houses.
Kardtects gives kids the power to build incredible card structures.
The instructions in the box show how to build using the Kardtects Square. And this is one method most commonly used to build a card house from Kardtects cards. It is easy to get the knack of building the square, and from this core design, a builder can create an awesome and impressive castle.
So let’s begin. You begin with leaning one card against the top corner of another. If needed you can use a stand to begin. But try and use only one on the first card of any level. As you build more and more, you will realize you don’t need to use any. They are like training wheels of bikes. They get you started, help you acquire the knack for The Lean of the Card, and soon not needed.
Keep leaning cards against another. From the first two cards, add another side wall, then if you are going wider, continue building on the back. Add another side wall.
This sample structure is 3 Squares Wide. And so after placing 3 backs and side walls, add the Face Cards.
Now build the second level.
And the third. And on up.
Here’s a video to watch. You can slow down to catch the placements if needed.
