It’s a fun fact to know that not only the flashlight’s invention, but also its name, were inspired by the ancient means for bringing light to dark places by Torches.
Even today, flashlights are often called torches in some areas. The reason being that torches were known to be ‘flashlights’. That is, their flames were often inconsistent in brightness and ‘flashed’ light hither and thither.
In the Kardtects Forbidden Jungle and Grisroc building card sets are cards featuring Torches. These building cards help transform walls and landscapes into even more remarkable creations.
In the Grisroc set there are seven different cards with a torch or torches lighting the way for building imaginations. Many of these torches are positioned outside of doorways.
The Forbidden Jungle set includes two collectible cards with torches. One which is a tiki torch. A whole path, lined with tiki torches, leading to a community of various jungle huts, can be built! Building and creating is so much fun with Kardtects.
No matter where a builder decides to place these cards on a card house or within his landscapes, their colorful details brightens up the creations.
