Episode 8 of the Kardtects Spot the Destroyer Video Series features the Pharaoh’s Mummy Destroyer Disk. Can you spot him while the animated video of building a card house is going on?
The Lost Desert set of cards is also featured in the video. Both starter and expansion cards are used to build a small Egyptian pyramid and side structure. A mosaic pathway connects the two structures, while an oasis, with a camel nearby, and tree,s are placed on the other side of this ancient Egyptian Temple.
The building of the 52 card Lost Desert Card scene challenges watchers to catch the passing Destroyer. Destroyers are characters that are displayed on Kardtects Disks. These Destroyer Disks are dense circular pieces of cardboard, and are thrown at card houses to knock them down. It is a fact Kardtects builds fun from beginning to end! AND inspires to build again to knock down again…and again!
The Pharaoh’s Mummy’s legend, of this particular Destroyer, is that after rising form his sarcophagus centuries ago, he was unable to pass into the Netherworld. Since then he roams feverishly; breaking down walls in effort to find a path to his cherished destination. It is thought he inspired the quote, “Persistence brings success.”
Previously, in a Fun Fact Friday post, The Curse of the Mummy and King Tut’s Tomb ,other legends about Mummy’s and hidden tombs was talked about. Check it out!
The above legend shares why the Mummy of Pharaoh Khaba is definitely seen as a Kardtects Destroyer. He knocks down your walls and destroys your card houses!
But with all destructions, new creations can be built. So we can’t complain. What will you build after the Mummy knocks down your card house?
The Disk of the Mummy Destroyer is of Medium size and found only in the Starter Boxes of the Lost Desert set. Other Destroyers, like the Giant Ant featured in a previous Spot the Destroyer, can be found too.
Collect them all and then build a card house and have fun knocking them down! First though, see if you can Spot the Mummy Disk during the build!
